Remote Service Control Manager can be used if selected computers are in the same workgroup/domain as the Enterprise Console computer. If any selected computers are in a different domain/workgroup than the Enterprise Console computer then Remote Service Control Manager can NOT be used as deployment will fail as Windows security will not allow Remote Service Control Manager to authenticate using the Enterprise Console assigned logon credentials.
SQL Server:
WMI can be used if selected computers are in the same workgroup/domain as the Enterprise Console computer. WMI MUST be used if any selected computers are in a different workgroup/domain than the Enterprise Console computer.

Important pre-deployment information. In order to use the PerfectDisk Enterprise Console to deploy and manage PerfectDisk in a network environment, you will need to verify the following:
License Key [%1] is a valid [%2] key. Currently you have [%3] installed. Please enter a valid key for [%4].
License Key [%1] is a valid [%2] key. Currently you have [%3] version installed. To use this license key, you will need to uninstall [%4] and then install [%5]. You can download [%6] from the RAXCO Web site

License Key [%1] is a valid key for a different Version of PerfectDisk. Currently you have [%2] version installed. To use this license key, you will need to uninstall [%3] and then install the other version. You can download from the RAXCO Web site
Select type, domain user name and password for the Logon and press OK. The type depends on whether this Logon is suitable for administration of a domain, a workgroup or just a local computer.
Step 1: Configure the Windows Firewall If you are running the Windows Firewall, it will need to be configured to allow the Enterprise Console to communicate to remote systems.
Step 2: Configure Windows Security Settings Depending on the version of Windows that you are running and if you are in a domain or workgroup environment, there are several Windows Security Settings that need to be enabled.
Step 3: Verify Required Services and DCOM Configuration DCOM, PRC and WMI services need to be running on the Enterprise Console computer as well as on remote systems.
